These are frames from the first scene of 101 Dalmatians at Roger and Pongo's place near Regents Park (I think that's where it is). I created these sheets for an assignment for the class Intro to Perspective with Robert St. Pierre at Concept Design Academy. The assignment is to recreate a space in an animated film in one point perspective. So my original intention was to identify unique backgrounds within this opening scene inside the apartment so I can understand it and identify all the items within it. Some of the animation took my fancy though (Roger's hands and Pongo's expressions) so I began frame by framing through them. But, none of the consecutive frames in these sheets are genuninely consecutive and I suspect the color of these sheets is not correct either. Nevertheless, I thought that they may be helpful to someone.
When I chose 101 Dalmatians as the movie for this assignment I recalled that Hans Bacher had some wonderful posts on the film on his blog. Andreas Deja also has brilliant posts about 101 Dalmatians on his blog. Their posts are so insightful!
